Lauren Conneely

Lauren combines a love of wine with industry-level wine qualifications, and digital marketing and social media expertise. She holds the formal wine qualification WSET Level 3 (Wine) along with business qualifications, including a Master of International Business & a Bachelor of Business (Marketing).

Before pursuing her love of wine, Lauren spent 15 years in the Learning & Development industry – working both locally and overseas for creative agencies in the digital learning space. During this time Lauren honed her digital skills, storytelling style and visual and graphic design techniques. And importantly, she learnt how to understand the needs of her clients and how to engage and connect with their audience to share their key message. This experience also embedded a love of training and the ability to enable people to learn and apply new skills in new ways. Lauren was able to put this into practice in partnership with the Department of Tourism, when she delivered a series of Digital Marketing and Social Media workshops to Queensland wineries.

During her digital marketing experiences,  Lauren has worked with a range of wine businesses from wineries to wine importers and distributors to wine educators and more. She enjoys partnering with clients to ensure their goals are achieved through the best combination of digital marketing strategies.

I love trying alternative varieties so I’m always exploring. My current favourite is Assyrtiko – a white wine grape indigenous to the island of Santorini. It’s like going on a holiday through your wine glass.

Travel is such a big part of my life. I love exploring new places with my husband and our two young daughters, and having new experiences. We have a very long ‘Travel Bucket List’ that we’re working our way through (including a lot of wine regions!).
