KATE BARRY | MARKETING ASSISTANT
Kate was literally the reason Mastermind Consulting started, enabling her mum, Trish, to have a flexible role and continue working when her first child was born! She’s grown up alongside many of our clients and knows more about wine and marketing than many her age.
Kate has been our marketing assistant working part-time since 2024, helping with social media, public relations and research.
She’s got a Diploma of Communication (ASCA), and is currently studying Commerce, majoring in Marketing at UNSW as part of the Co-Op Program.
Public speaking, politics and theatre! Kate’s passionate about the Arts, having represented Australia at the World Individual Debating and Public Speaking Championships in 2025. She’s been on the advisory boards of Belvoir Theatre and Australian Theatre for Young People.
In 2024, Kate was named Canada Bay Young Citizen of the Year, recognising her contribution advocating for young entrepreneurs and greater participation in the arts. She has run her own business, Scrunchie Munchies since the age of 11.
