With more than 2000 Australian wine companies selling their goods to consumers, not to mention the myriad imported products, shelves in wine stores have never been more crowded. It’s easy to see how a wine name without a story or visual identity can become lost in the sea of brands. So when renowned winemaker Jo Marsh approached Mastermind to help launch her very own Billy Button Wines from the Alpine Valleys in Victoria, we jumped at the challenge.

The Mastermind Consulting team instantly knew there was a bright future ahead for Billy Button Wines. Our team wrote the brand brief for the design agency (Woods Canon) to bring the logo and labels to life. We developed the brand story and punchy website copy, then wrote press releases to spread the word. Despite the hurdles a start-up business needs to jump over and investment required to get the messaging and look of a brand right, Jo Marsh embraced our guidance and her vision was brought to life.
