Toni Carlino is a senior marketing professional who developed a love for great Australian wine when she joined the industry over 17 years ago. She has a broad base of experience from sales, brand management and development, strategy and leadership garnered from her time with Rosemount Estates, Southcorp Wines, Crown Perth, De Bortoli Wines and Treasury Wine Estates.
Toni began her career in sales across various industries including Ansett Australia, ANA (now Shangri-La Sydney) and Hyatt Regency Perth. Her foray into the hospitality industry cemented her desire to join the wine industry and to pursue her studies in the Masters of Wine Marketing at Edith Cowan University in WA.
Toni worked in a marketing role with Southcorp Wines, which moved into Brand Management of the Softpack and Value Categories. In 2004 she became the Senior Brand Manager, New Brands, developing the Secret Stone brand from New Zealand.
In 2005 Toni moved back to Perth to be with family, then Toni commenced in the role of Brand Development Manager for Crown Perth, creating numerous new restaurant, bar, hotel and entertainment products.
Her love of the wine industry pulled her back in 2010 when Toni moved into the role of National Marketing Manager at De Bortoli Wines, in which she led the marketing, export marketing and promotions teams across the entire portfolio of over 50 brands.
Most recently Toni spent 12 months at Treasury Wine Estates as Senior Marketing Manager, Wynns, Pepperjack and Regional Brands, delivering the strategic plans as well as gaining a deeper understanding in the application of consumer, shopper and category insights and marketing.
Toni is a board member on the Australian Women in Wine Awards 2015, driving leadership of women in our industry and the Wine Communicators of Australia.
